Two patients who have been hospitalized at Mount St. John’s Medical Centre for several weeks are now COVID-free, Prime Minister Gaston Browne said.
“The two individuals who have been hospitalized for several weeks, they’re doing very well and they’re expected to make a full recovery,” Browne told listeners to Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne Show.
Meanwhile, two separate individuals — who are not at MSJMC — are the country’s only known cases who have so far not been cleared of COVID-19.
However, Prime Minister Browne told 268 TODAY that late this evening, one of them received a negative test result and will be retested next week.
The Prime Minister said swabs were taken from both patients yesterday.
The results were returned this evening.
